About Country Writes Publishing

Country Writes Publishing is an independent imprint founded for a single purpose: to publish and preserve the written work of a husband and wife.

The press was not created to follow trends, pursue scale, or chase the noise of the market. It exists instead out of necessity—the belief that certain stories require care, patience, and a steady hand, from first draft to finished book. Stories shaped by rural life, by long memory, by faith, fear, love, and the quiet weight of consequence.

Country Writes Publishing serves as a home for novels and stories written close to the land and close to the human heart. These works often dwell in small towns, forgotten places, and interior lives. They favor atmosphere over spectacle, character over speed, and truth—however unsettling—over comfort.

By keeping the imprint small and personal, each book is shepherded with intention. Editorial decisions, design, and presentation are handled with respect for the work itself, not the demands of a passing season. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is produced simply to fill space.

Country Writes Publishing does not accept outside submissions.

The imprint exists solely to steward the published works of its founders, allowing their voices to remain distinct and unaltered by external pressures.

In an age of excess, this press chooses restraint.
In an age of volume, it chooses care.

Country Writes Publishing stands as a quiet place for stories meant to last.
