Gary’s writing is heavily shaped by a lifetime of unique, real-world perspective. Raised in the deep South, he traveled by horseback along the rugged backcountry roads and wild rivers that now serve as settings for his novels. There, around campfires, he gathered the foundational lore of local hunters, trappers, and fishermen. He later spent decades in law enforcement, ultimately serving as Chief of Police. In addition to his law enforcement career, Gary holds a Master’s in Religious Education and a PhD in Theology. His academic background deeply informs his narratives, weaving profound questions of purpose, sacrifice, and forgiveness directly into his characters’ struggles. Gary has been married for over thirty-five years and helped raise five children. Family, commitment, and resilience are not simply themes he writes about—they are values he has lived.

She is the author of Night Demons and Night Terrors, compelling collections of short stories that explore the unexpected twists, psychological suspense, and hidden mysteries masked by ordinary life.
Carol’s rich professional background provides her with a unique perspective on human vulnerability, resilience, and emotion. A registered nurse by training, she holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from South Georgia College. She later channeled her medical expertise and precision into founding and operating Carol Roberts Transcription, delivering highly specialized medical transcription services for top-tier professionals in breast oncology, cardiology, and general surgery. Carol also holds a degree in Secretarial Science from Waycross-Ware Technical School.
Guided by a deep interest in education and faith, Carol earned a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from Covington Theological Seminary, where she also served as an instructor of English to adult students.
